INTERLABORATORY COMPARISON STUDIES
Clause 7.7 requires:
Laboratory to have quality control procedures for monitoring the validity of testing and calibrations that have been performed. This can include participating in inter - laboratory comparison studies or proficiency testing programs.
In addition, Interlaboratory comparison studies can perform other purposes including:
- Accessing the inter-laboratory reliability and robustness of analytical methods, and are typically the final stage of a method validation program, and may be carried out on an ongoing bases
- Assigning values to certified reference materials
- Supporting statements of equivalency of measurement by national metrology laboratories
We can provide scientific advice and assistance, and project management services in:
- Designing, implementing, executing and managing comparison studies
- Evaluating the findings of studies
- Reporting and presenting the findings
- Publishing the findings
